This individual will be responsible for supporting our brokerage team with existing clients to provide excellent customer service as well working closely with the Financial Controller. This is an ideal role for a strong team player who is detailed oriented, possesses strong administrative support skills, customer focused and is committed to delivering results. Responsibilities:
  • Answering calls, assisting customer and/or forwarding to the appropriate contact
  • Sorting and forwarding faxes/emails received
  • Logging payments received from clients in our system
  • Handling incoming and outgoing courier and regular mail
  • Scanning and attaching documents in broker management system
  • Monitoring, maintaining and compilation of aged Accounts Receivable accounts
  • Supporting finance team
  • Other administrative duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 -2 years’ administrative support experience
  • Strong customer service experience and multitasking skills
  • Professional and a team player
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Experience working with monthly accounting deadlines an asset
  • Quickbooks experience an asset
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills

  • Handling of high volume renewals, endorsements, cancellations and invoicing

Qualifications:

  • Active RIBO License
  • 1-3 years Insurance experience

  • Managing all aspects of an existing book of business
  • Ensuring new business and retention targets are met, including by means of re-marketing
  • Cross-selling other insurance and financial products based on the minimum requirements
